A couple weeks ago I was cutting Jonas and Elijah's hair. As I was cutting, Natalie asked if she could have her hair cut too. Her hair had gotten pretty long and I always thought when we were ready to cut it, we would cut a lot and donate it to an organization like Locks of Love. I also told her we would cut her hair when she turned 4. Well, her 4th birthday was only about a month away so I thought, why not now? It's close enough. So she finally had her turn in the seat! She was so excited! Before we started though, we had to take pictures! (I wish we had a good picture of her beautiful, long hair with curls, and not just pulled out straight! Also, you may not be able to tell in the picture that her hair goes all the way to her waist when pulled straight!)

I knew when I started cutting that I wanted to give her a good trim but doing Locks of Love was going to be too much. I wasn't ready to lose her curls and length! I decided just a few inches would be good. But of course, as it is, when hair is wet, it is longer than when it dries, especially with curly hair which bounces back up. So the "few" inches I cut off turned out to be a little more than I wanted. Oh well, it'll grow back. Natalie loves her new cut and is proud to show it off! And I'm happy to say her curls are still there (even if it doesn't show it well it the "after" picture)! :)

Ok, NOW can I get a reprieve for cutting Tricia's hair too short?? Now you know, wet hair is certainly different than dry!
