Father's Day

Today was a great Father's Day! Before breakfast, the kids presented me with a huge card that they made with Laura's help. Laura drew the pictures and the kids painted it with water colors. They did such a great job of staying in the lines. Elijah wrote the inside message, "Happy Father's Day, We Love You!"
























For breakfast, Laura made cinnamon rolls which were super awesome!













After breakfast, I went outside to play with the kids. Sometimes it takes a lot of imagination to keep them entertained. Today, we decided to build a go-kart with whatever we could find in the garage. It started off pretty simple, but then we kept adding more and more stuff. The kids thought it was great! I'd push, they'd drive...later we added a foot brake and a "turbo" button!

For dinner: ham, cheesy potatoes, and pineapple sauce! Yum.













And for dessert...Laura and the kids made "tunnel of fudge" cake!!!













I felt very appreciated today! It's great being a dad. Can't wait until next year :)
