This weekend we finally finished Jonas' room...yes, he is now 8 months old and was still sleeping in a plain, boring room. But now all that has changed!
We completed his robot decorations and put his name on the wall. Here are the pics. You probably can't see it very well, but the little stuffed robot sitting on Jonas' changing table was the inspiration for his room, colors and decor.
The robots were made out of foam board and felt and then we added all the hardware from random pieces of metal and "junk" we had lying around the garage.
Jonas' name evolved from previous plans that we had at the beginning, namely painting some boards and painting letters on them. This turned out much better. We made letters out of industrial materials: J - bent pipe, O - spoke rims of a wheel, N - aluminum scraps, A - welded pipes, S - curved spring and attached them to the wall to go along with the robot theme.
