The parade started around 11am and the route went from the Staples Center down Figueroa St. to the Coliseum. There were tons of people lining the street. According to the news, the estimate was 150,ooo people watching the parade and another 80-90,000 at the Coliseum for the celebration.

The Lakers rode on double-decker buses and it was really neat because we were able to be super close. It was hard to try and pick out certain players as they went by, but I think we did a pretty good job. We almost missed Kobe because he was on the other side of the bus waving at the crowds on the other side of the street. We did get to see Pau Gasol, Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, Trevor Ariza, and Kobe Bryant...we didn't find Luke Walton or Phil Jackson. You'd think that they'd be easy to find since they are some of the only white people on the team :)

It was a lot of fun! It was cool celebrating the Laker's victory. Congrats guys! Let's do it again next year...
